Cilento - Villa Chicca (self catering)

Charming countryside villa available throughout summer 2009 in Villammare (SA), Cilento. Cilento is one of the prettiest and less known areas of Italy, still full or traditions and natural beauty. The village of Villammare comes alive in the summer months, with a lot of events going on from 'sagre' (village fairs) to live concerts. The sea is clean (Sapri has been consistently a european blue flag for the last 10 years) and the beaches, pebbles and sand, have all you need for a comfortable stay (bars, cafes, watersports, cabins etc).

The villa was built in the 70s, and has a large garden with private, shaded, parking for 1/2 cars. On one side it overlooks a small river (dry in the summer) and is part of a 5 villas complex. Built in the typical local style, it has an upper floor with 3 bedrooms (two double, one single), a kitchen, bathroom, dining / lounge area with small balcony. The main bedroom has airconditioning too. While the bathroom and the kitchen still have 1970's decor, the bedrooms have been recently renovated with new furniture.

Downstairs a cool patio is an ideal chilling out area and entertaining space. It also has another bathroom (with no shower/bath). Outdoor in the garden there is a shower with hot water.

The villa comfortably sleeps 4 people, so ideal for two couples, or a family as it has also a single room.
